This auction is a review of the birthstones for each month. Some months have more than one. Some months have ‘official’ and ‘unofficial’ and ‘alternates’. We tried to include all we are aware of. There is garnet in a few of its many varieties, amethysts, aquamarine, diamonds, emeralds, pearl, alexandrite, ruby peridot, blue sapphire, opal, pink sapphires, other fancy sapphires, citrine, blue topaz, turquoise, blue zircon, lapis lazuli, and tanzanite. There are other gemstones and diamonds in this catalog, as well as jewelry with no gemstones. Just remember, a person’s jewelry does not have to be limited to their own birthstone.
