Hand-wrought in Mexico, this vintage sterling silver brooch features 19 round, polished green turquoise cabochons in a wreath-like circle. Circa 1950’s. The closure is a hinged pin on a locking "C" clasp, which is typical of jewelry from this era. The back is stamped Sterling MEXICO. Belonged to the grandmother of the lady whose estate this was. Believed to be Damele Turquoise, but could be Carico Lake.
