There are five (5) round chicklet-style cut, bezel-set, 4mm genuine, blue sapphires (1.50ctw) in this bracelet that are stationed approximately 1.25" apart. Although the bracelet is 8" long with a counter-weight disc at the female end, it is considered a 7" bracelet with an inch of adjustment links for additioinal sizes. Each sapphire station has jump rings soldered solidly to the bezel that joins the link chain, acting as a swivel that prevents the bracelet from breakage that often occurs with the rolling of the bracelet up and down the arm. Additionally, the bracelet has a tarnish-resistant finish, giving it a bright white gleam like that of white gold, for years of sparkling joy! The bracelet closes with a spring ring. CLEANING AND CARE TIPS: Rhodium-finished sterling silver and genuine blue sapphires are ultra-sonic safe, however certain chemicals, such as ammonia can affect the metal, especially in high heat for prolonged periods. It is best to clean this bracelet with warm water and a mild soap or detergent, such as a grease-fighting dish soap. After rinsing with warm water, gently dry with a soft, lint-free cloth or shammy. You may want to leave it on a drying cloth for 10 minutes to allow any moisture that may remain in the spring ring to evaporate, or use a hair dryer for 10-15 seconds on a low, warm setting to dry the spring ring thoroughly. This will help extend the life of the spring inside the clasp. KEEP the bracelet inside a soft, lint-free cloth or bag while storing. This keeps it from tangling with other jewelry, scratching other jewelry, or getting scratched by other jewelry and items inside the storage or jewelry box. WHILE WEARING the bracelet, insure that it is the correct length for your wrist, not too tight that it will snap, nor too loose that it gets snagged and becomes stretched or broken. Take care with wearing the bracelet with sweaters that tend to cling to jewelry, as this may also cause damage.
