The contrast between the elegant, etoile-style, finely-set, genuine white sapphires and the deep, purplish-red, genuine natural star ruby that would still be considered rough ore, but for the low dome, oval-cut and enough of a polish to expose the faint, 5-ray star, creates a most dynamic statement ring. Pair it with the matching pendant in Lot 145 and the bold statement becomes "Gasp-Worthy"! It is cast in sterling silver with a 14 karat yellow gold overlay and features an approximate 21.00 carat round, cabochon-polished and claw prong set, genuine, certified natural, star ruby that is claw-set in an enormous "skirt", aka triple halo, comprised of 3.90 carats of round, fully faceted, genuine white sapphires. The ring measures approximately 1 1/8" wide at the top of the finger, and balance is assisted by the lovely lattice under gallery that supports the scrolling side gallery and gemstones. The split shoulders taper to a durable ring shank. The ring is US size 8.5. No sizing options are not offered on this ring, but a professional jeweler with the equipment necessary to work on vermeil in your area should be able to adjust the size. Admin: 7159/16-lhh
